Jane graduated with LLB from University of Ottawa in 1982, articled with Burke-Robertson in 1982-3 and was called to the Bar in 1984. She was hired by Burke-Robertson immediately after being called to the Bar and became a partner in 1990. She continued to practice primarily in the areas of family law and estate litigation at Burke-Robertson LLP until 2017 when she moved to Mann Lawyers LLP and began to limit her practice to mediation and arbitration in the areas of family and estate law. Jane served as a co-chair of the Montebello Solicitors\u2019 Conference Planning Committee between 2000 and 2004 and a trustee of CCLA from 2005 to 2009.
