With over 28 years of experience as a family lawyer, inside and outside of the court, combined with my extensive training and practice as a family mediator, it is my view that going to court should be a last resort. It is expensive and no one is completely satisfied with the result. To use a borrowed phrase, “Going to court provides a decision, not a solution”.
